Welcome to All Massage Solutions
As a practising therapist for over 15 years experience I have come to appreciate the many benefits that massage therapy can bring to my clients. Massage is for everyone whether your age, or if you have an existing health condition, a stressed office worker or a regular fitness and gym goer then there is a treatment to suit you. Massage should not be routine based but tailored to the individuals needs and during the initial consultation areas that need attention will be highlighted. It may be recommended for you to have a short course of treatment depending on the reasons for having massage therapy and this could involve a combination of techniques and even sometimes different therapies.
Why have massage therapy?
Although massage has been around for thousands of years in many forms, it is only in recent years that research and clinical studies have been undertaken to highlight the many benefits of regular massage. By improving circulation and joint flexibility along with the reduction of muscular tension and stiffness it makes the body less prone to injury acting as a preventative measure. The release of endorphins helps in the reduction of pain and is a natural way to relax and help cope with stress and anxiety. One of the reasons why it is helpful for many health conditions including high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, arthritis and cancer. Studies have shown massage boosts the immune system by increasing white blood cells and decreasing cortisol the “stress hormone” better preparing the body for fighting illnesses and infection. In an increasingly hectic and busy world in which many of us have time constraints why not take an hour to unwind and relax and see the benefits massage therapy can bring.
I am a fully qualified and insured therapist with The Complementary Therapist Association (CThA) and my details can be checked on www.embodyforyou.com. Having previously worked in Finance in London I can relate to how working long hours, sat in front of a computer, can play a part in minor niggles and muscular tension. I decided I wanted to work for myself and having always had an interest in health and fitness decided to retrain in massage therapy. Having worked with many clients over the years I have always had an interest in the role chronic stress can play in many health conditions and its affect on the body both physically and mentally. I have worked in clinics, gyms, and spa’s and taken part in many therapy events including providing massage for charity days and a corporate event for clients at The Grosvenor Hotel in Victoria.
I work in Billericay and Brentwood and the surrounding areas including Stock, Ingatestone, Chelmsford, Wickford and can provide a mobile service for clients unable to travel or who wish to have a home treatment.
